Welcome to DJ RAW Entertainment.

We have 30+ years of experience in the mobile DJ business, mainly specializing in wedding receptions.  But, we also love to do corporate and private parties, awards banquets, holiday parties, anniversaries, and birthdays.  The years of experience helps us to create the perfect reception for you.


We give you personalized service.  The person you meet with to plan your special day is the same person who will be performing for you.  Nothing is contracted out to other DJs.


We want everything to be first class in our appearance and our professional equipment.  We will always be attired in a black tuxedo, unless you designate something to go with your theme (such as Hawaiian shirts for a beach theme, disco clothes for a 70s theme, or a costume for a Halloween theme, etc.).  All of our equipment is professional quality and name brands.  Our lighting fixtures are by Chauvet and American DJ.  Our sound equipment features brands such as Gemini, QSC, Crown, Numark, Vestax, Behringer, EV, etc.


Our extensive music library is ever-increasing.  We carry a vast selection of popular and recognizable hits from the 1940s to the latest hits of today.  We feature original hits by the original artists.


Your DJ RAW Entertainment personnel will arrive at least 2 hours prior to the start time of your event to properly set-up and do sound checks and still have time to change into our formal clothes long before the first guests arrive.


We will have wireless microphones available so toasts, prayers and announcements can be made from anywhere in the room.  We also operate with 2 performers at every event.  This allows for someone to be using the wireless microphone across the room and someone controlling the volume.  We strive to maintain a comfortable volume on the music to allow your guests full enjoyment of their evening.


We do not charge extra for travel time within 50 miles of our office or set-up time.  Our package is for up to 6 hours of music, from the time of the first song's beginning to the end of the last song of the night.


When we have finalized the planning of your event, we will contact the other vendors (caterers, photographers, videographers, cake people, etc) you have hired to make your evening perfect, and provide them with the detailed itinerary of the evening.  This allows us all to present a smooth, coordinated flow to the evening. 


We are a past member of the American Disc Jockey Association - San Diego Chapter and adhere to their code of ethics.  We carry the proper insurances for mobile DJ entertainers through the ADJA.
